Shop Policies


General Shop Policy

  • Our artists have the right to refuse service to anyone under any circumstances.

  • Please respect our space. We have put our blood, sweat, and tears into making our shop not only a fun and comfortable environment for you to be tattooed in, but also an extension of ourselves. Please do not touch or move anything on the premises without explicit permission from our staff.

Guests

  • It is preferred you come to your tattoo appointment alone. If absolutely necessary, please limit accompanying guests to one person.

  • Please note that if you choose to bring a guest to your appointment, they may be asked to remain in our waiting area.

  • Any and all guests are subject to complying with shop rules and protocol.

Legal Age for Service

  • 18 and older, with a valid ID, for tattoos and any piercing

  • 16 and older for body and facial piercings, with a valid ID and guardian present with valid ID and consenting

  • Any age for ear piercings, with a valid ID and guardian present with valid ID and consenting

  • Valid ID: State issued id/Passport/birth certificate

  • No young children will be permitted in the shop under any circumstances unless specifically in the case of receiving a piercing and must be closely supervised while in the shop. Tattoo shops are full of bio-hazardous waste, harsh chemicals, and sharps. We refuse to be responsible for your children potentially becoming injured or ill. For their safety, we ask that they remain at home while you get tattooed.

Deposit & Rescheduling Policy

Deposits

  • No Appointments will be made without a deposit. Deposits are required to guarantee our artists time for the appointment as well as the time spent creating your design. All deposits then come off of the price of your service at your appointment.

  • All deposits are non-refundable.

Rescheduling

  • In the event that you cannot make your appointment, all deposits have a one time transfer as long as we are notified at least 24 hours in advance. After one transfer, or if we are notified after the 24 hour window, a new deposit will be required and the original forfeited.

  • In the event that you must reschedule, please note that we are unable to schedule in front of other waiting clients. We will do our best to get you back in as soon as we can, but no specific time frame is guaranteed.

  • In the event that our artist needs to reschedule your appointment, your deposit will remain valid and you will be rescheduled for as soon as we can get you.

  • Our artists have the right to reschedule any appointment they deem necessary.

Cancellation

  • In the event that your must cancel your appointment without rescheduling, your original deposit will be forfeited.

No-show

  • In the event that you no-show your scheduled appointment, meaning that you do not give any notice and simply do not show up, your deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to re-book.

Late

  • If you are over 20 minutes late to your scheduled appointment time, you will be considered a no-show and need to be rescheduled as well as forfeit your original deposit.

Design Policy

Consultation

  • We ask that before booking with a specific artist, you carefully look over our artists portfolios. Our qualified tattoo artists are artists first and foremost, they each have a specific style to their work. Please make sure that the artist you are choosing has a style that you enjoy/matches what you are wanting out of your tattoo.

  • During your consultation, and when sending reference photos, please be as specific as possible. We will do our best to incorporate everything you want out of you tattoo. Please keep in mind however, certain things or too much crammed into one piece will result in a lesser tattoo. Part of our job is to guide you in the right direction and bring your vision to life in the best way possible. Please lend us some trust during your consultation.

  • We ask that all clients give our artists some creative freedom with your design to ensure that you receive the best quality work possible.

  • Our artists have the right to refuse any design without reasoning.

Deposit and Design Changes

  • Our artists require a deposit before mocking up or drawing any design.

  • The design agreed upon by you and your artist is the design that your deposit and appointment slot are reserved for.

  • Changes to the original design are allowed within reason but may increase the price of the tattoo upon completion. If the original concept is changed or changes requested drastically change the original design, a new deposit will be required.

The Design Process

  • No finalized designs will be sent to client for preview before their appointment. Designs may be sent to client no earlier than 2 days before scheduled appointment.

  • We give clients the opportunity to see the design ahead of time to let us know if we need to make any tweaks and adjustments to designs before putting them too skin. However if there are many changes to be made it may be necessary to reschedule to give our artists time to finalize the revised design. In this case the deposit would cary over to the new appointment.

Touch ups

  • Touch ups, of tattoos done originally at Tattooed Mannequin, that are done at the same time as a new tattoo are free. However, exclusively touch up appointments are a $40 equipment fee.

  • Touchups for a tattoo NOT originally done at Tattooed Mannequin are the $80 shop minimum if actual tattooing is completed in less than 30 min.

  • If a tattoo fails to heal properly due to client neglect and failure to follow after care, any touch ups will be done according standard tattoo prices.
