Preparing for Your Tattoo
The big day is here. It’s time to get ready.
Physically Prepare
We need you and your skin in tip top shape.
Be well rested
Be freshly showered
Shave the area you are getting tattooed
Lightly moisturize the area you are getting tattooed
Be hydrated and have eaten a solid meal
How to dress
In a way that we can access where you are getting tattooed (you can bring a change of clothes if you need)
In black or clothing you don’t care about is ideal because sometimes tattoo ink and blood can get on clothing during the process
Comfortably
Things to Bring
Consider having these items along.
Mask (required)
Water (highly recommended)
Snack
Headphones
Blanket
Comfort items (such as a stress ball or stuffed animal)
Things to Avoid
We would prefer if you didn’t.
Drinking alcohol the night before or directly before your appointment
Alcohol can greatly affect the healing process of a tattoo
The consumption of any drug or medication before an appointment without discussing it with your artist
Bringing a large group of people
One or two people for moral support is ok but please no more than that
Bringing children with
Showing up excessively early or late
We don’t open the doors until 10am
Let us know if you are running late (it’s not a big deal)
